Lowering the cost of living and building economic mobility by launching a bold D.C. Forward Economic Plan to secure federal resources for affordable housing, workforce development, and jobs—particularly for residents without college degrees.
Making D.C. safer and stronger by partnering with local and federal officials to address crime and invest in youth programs that create real opportunities that prevent violence – before it starts.
Protecting local control and the future of D.C. by building powerful coalitions within Congress and with national alliances to stop harmful federal interference, and to fight for statehood, ensuring D.C. finally has a say as other cities and states in America.

Robert believes in balancing accountability with prevention. He will invest in youth programs and opportunities that prevent crime before it starts, while making sure there are meaningful consequences for serious offenses.
Education
Robert knows strong schools are the foundation of opportunity. He will fight for federal funding that supports D.C. teachers, improves classrooms, and prepares our children for the jobs of tomorrow.
Fighting for Statehood
For too long, Washingtonians have been denied full representation in Congress. Robert is running to change that. He will fight for D.C. statehood, defend local control from federal interference, and ensure our residents finally have the same rights as every other American. Robert will work to build powerful coalitions in Congress and across the country to stop destructive overreach. He will protect local laws from being overturned and make sure D.C. has the freedom to govern itself.
Economic Opportunity and Lower Costs
Robert is committed to building pathways to the middle class for every resident. From affordable housing to small business growth, he’ll fight to make sure D.C. is a place where families can thrive, not just get by. That’s why Robert’s bold “D.C. Forward Economic Plan” aims to bring federal resources into the city to make housing more affordable, develop the workforce, and create good-paying jobs, especially for residents without college degrees.
